Here's Tropical Storm Carina- Pag-asa Latest Update! In its June 18- 5 p.m. bulletin, PAGASA estimated Talim at 800 km west of extreme northern Luzon, with maximum sustained winds of 75 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 90 kph.

PAGASA said Talim, which will be locally codenamed Carina upon entering Philippine territory, is forecast to move northeast slowly.



Synopsis:
At 4:00 p.m., today, the eye of Typhoon "BUTCHOY" was located based on satellite and surface data a 700 km northeast of Basco, Batanes (24.3°N, 128.3°E) with maximum sustained winds of 150 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 185 kph. It is moving north northeast at 30 kph. Southwest monsoon affecting Luzon. Meanwhile, Tropical Storm "TALIM" was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 800 km west of Extreme Northern Luzon (19.0°N, 112.4°E) with maximum sustained winds of 75 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 90 kph. It is forecast to move northeast slowly.
