Here's Bagyong Enteng- PAGASA Latest Update! According to PAGASA, At 2:00 pm today, Tropical Depression (Khanun) outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 1,340 km East Northeast of Basco, Batanes (24.1°N, 136.2°E) with maximum winds of 55 kph. It is forecast to move West Northwest at 19 kph. Weak Southwest monsoon affecting the Western sections of Northern and Central Luzon.

Once it enters the PAR line it will be called "Enteng," the fifth storm to visit the country for 2012.

According to the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), "Khanun," which had been hovering over the Pacific Ocean for several days, will pass through the north-eastern side of the PAR line.


Pagasa said the country could expect 19 storms this year, two of which may enter this month.
