Here's Typhoon Helen PAGASA Latest Update! According to PAGASA, as of today, August 5 there is no tropical cyclone existing within the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR). However, there is light to moderate rains (1.0 to 5.0 mm/hr) were observed with no possible flashfloods and landslides in the Western section of Luzon. However, scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms will continue to affect Luzon and Visayas due to the southwest monsoon.
After Typhoon Helen, Typhoon Igme is the next codename of the Typhoon within the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

The active low pressure area East of Northern Luzon has developed into a tropical depression and was named "IGME".
In its 11 a.m. bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) has raised storm signal number 1 over the provinces of Isabela and Cagayan and warned of moderate to heavy rains in areas within the tropical depression's 400 kilometer diameter.

At 10:00 a.m. today, 20 August 2012, the center of Tropical Storm "IGME" was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 280 km East of Aparri, Cagayan (18.2°N 124.7°E).
