Typhoon Lawin Latest Weather Bulletin

On PAGASA latest weather bulletin  issued at: 11:00 a.m., 12 September 2012 another low pressure area (LPA) was estimated at 250 km West of Zambales (15.4°N, 117.3°E).  The Low Pressure Area will be code named "Lawin" once it becomes a Typhoon and enter PAR.

Meanwhile, here's Typhoon Karen WEATHER BULLETIN #3 (11AM 9/12/12):TROPICAL CYCLONE ALERT: Tropical Storm "KAREN"

Tropical Storm "KAREN" over the East Philippine Sea has intensified as it moves nothwestward.

At today,the center of TS"KAREN" was estimated based on satellite and surface data 620 km East of Borongan, Eastern Samar (12.8N,131.6E).


* Max sustained winds/gustiness of 75 kph/90 kph near the center and is forecast to move Northwest 15kph.
* Est. Rainfall is 10-20 mm/hr w/in the 550 km diameter of the TS.
* Fishing boats and other small seacrafts are advised not to venture out into the eastern seaboard of Visayas and Mindanao due to TS "KAREN"
* Another Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated at 250 km West of Zamables (15.4 N, 117.3 E)

FORECAST POSITIONS:
* Tomorrow Morning :770 km East of Infanta, Quezon.
* Friday morning:620 km East of Tuguegarao City
* Saturday Morning: 500 km East of Itbayat, Batanes
